Role
As the Development Lead, my role centers around overseeing the entire development process, ensuring the successful implementation of robust solutions. I am responsible for data management using SAP HANA and SQL Anywhere, optimizing data storage, retrieval, and processing to ensure high-performance analytics. Additionally, I lead the design and development of the system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency across the platform. My expertise also includes managing the data load process, ensuring seamless integration of data from various sources and transforming it into actionable insights for users.
Technical details
This project utilizes SAP HANA and SQL Anywhere (as on premise alternative) for efficient data load, transformation, and storage, ensuring real-time and historical data processing for soccer analytics. The database design employs a star schema for fast querying of match events, player stats, and video data, leveraging SAP HANA’s in-memory capabilities for performance. The web application is built with Angular and Node.js, offering a responsive interface that integrates with the database via OData Service layer for live analytics, match statistics, and video highlights.
