Implementation of a cross platform offerings page for the marketing campaign launch.

Iridescent ripples of a bright blue and pink liquid

Mission

The project involved developing a combined iOS app for in-store displays and a web application for public access to a campaign aimed at launching a new flagship café at the Mall of America. The goal was to present product offers tailored to the target audience in an engaging and joyful manner. I implemented privacy first web analytics to track traffic, providing insights into campaign performance.

Role

My role encompassed the entire project lifecycle, from planning, development and implementation to deployment. I was responsible for making key technology decisions, ensuring the solutions were aligned with the client’s goals, and maintaining regular communication with the customer throughout the process, providing updates and iterating based on feedback.

Technical details

The project required a dual-platform solution for a campaign launching via an iOS app for in-store displays and a web application for public access. To achieve this, I utilized Ionic with React to build a single codebase that could be deployed natively to iOS and on the web. Ionic allowed us to leverage its cross-platform capabilities, enabling efficient development and deployment to both platforms with minimal effort. The app was designed to offer a seamless user experience across devices, with the same look, feel, and functionality on iOS as well as on the web.
